Wei Wuxian found himself unable to speak further. In the darkness, Lan Wangji had already held him in a tight embrace, blocking his mouth. Lan Wangji’s breathing was frenzied and panicked, his voice hoarse as he mumbled, “…admire you…” Wei Wuxian tightened his embrace. “Yes!” “…love you, desire you…” “Yes!” “Can’t leave you….Apart from you, I don’t want anyone else… It has to be you!” Lan Wangji repeated each sentence Wei Wuxian spoke to him, voice and body trembling, giving Wei Wuxian the feeling as though he were about to cry. With every sentence uttered, he tightened his grasp on Wei Wuxian’s waist. Wei Wuxian’s back hurt from the embrace, the arms around his back getting tighter and he was beginning to feel breathless. But he felt an immeasurable happiness, hating that he could not hug any tighter.
