Random, but soloshe and sinja besides being similar in their endings as couples…..they are also really similar from the beginning! Like how Solomon saved Sheba (Sin also saved Ja'far). How both Sheba and Ja'far had bad attitudes until they met them and changed. How both Solomon and Sin viewed Sheba and Ja'far as kids until some years passed. How both Sheba and Ja'far are unconditional to them and never stopped believing.

…Even in the moment Solomon and Sinbad saved sheba and ja'far they both were firmly holding their arms…

A review by mari-m-rose

I promised @naoscifra several months ago that I was gonna write this review, which in fact I did for her in Spanish the moment I got her beautiful doujin.
As time passed by and I didn’t find the time to sit down and write it properly, it occured to me to choose a special occasion……and what better occasion than her birthday! Especially since as usual I’m running late with gifts.
So, happy birthday Sofi, sorry for always being late, but I hope you like this!! While you wait for your proper gift.

Again&Again is a sinja doujin written and drawn by @naoscifra back in 2016. Before its release I had the priviledge of seeing a few panels ♥ which left me really excited.
The first thing I remember (mid spoilers ahead) is the appearance of assassin Ja’far with Mahad and Vittel.
As someone who has been in this fandom for a couple of years already and has seen several sinja doujins, I was really excited for an accurate portrayal of assassin Ja’far. After all, most sinja doujins were released in 2013 or before, when no one knew how the actual assassin Ja’far was and thus his protrayal in them is sometimes really far from reality. They often featured Ja’far as a cute poor baby (which he is but he doesn’t let anyone see that side of him) instead of the aggressive, vocal and rude Ja’far we all know.

So I was looking forward to it, moreover the addition of Vittel and Mahad not only makes it more canon but also more interesting, because I personally love them.
That first part didn’t disappoint at all, it felt like an actual moment that could have happened during Ja’far’s life. Really accurate characterization I have to say!
Moreover we are introduced to the theme of destiny, really important in the Magi world. There’s seriously nothing I didn’t like about this start.

The next part was a surprise for me tho. (Actual spoilers begin). We are soon interrupted by a young sinja having a conversation in bed. The fact that Ja’far is telling a story and not Sin is unusual? After all Sin becomes an author and loves to create his own stories based on his own adventures. Of course that was only my first impression. It actually makes a lot of sense for Sin to love hearing stories, the whole seen resembles the time when Darius /Daraias/ told his adventures to little Sin, even the poses are similar, it was a really nice touch. I absolutely love the idea of Sin being excited about hearing Ja’far’s adventures, after all he has a lot of experiences he could share. My only objection would be that maybe he could be reluctant to share stories about his murder jobs. Tho then Ja’far also mentions about how he didn’t use to eat for days and how life, even in a chasm, is better than being in the organization. So, maybe he can talk about them without details.

I also love the conversation going on about stories not having endings and changes no one can forsee. I think that is the kind of reply Sinbad would give and I also found the theme really interesting.

Then the premise of Ja’far telling stories every night begins, which is an intentional reference to 1001 Nights. As someone who knows Naos I’m not surprised since I know she is a fan of the original story. This is also a new portrayal of sinja dynamics which works well thus I like it very much.

What comes after is more complicated since the story is progressing. We get 3 pieces of info. One being that Sinbad has trouble falling asleep and finds comfort in Ja’far’s stories. The second being that as time progresses it’s not enough for him. And finally there’s also the inclusion of the crystal ball.

We find out the crystal ball is the same one Ja’far breaks at the beginning (or we suspect it)  and that Sinbad picked it up in the past. We are also shown a flashback of Ja’far telling Sin he killed the fortune teller old lady which was obvious, but the important part is that he tells Sin the truth and he comforts him.
This is important for me because it shows Ja’far leaning on Sin, after we saw Sin leaning on Ja’far. Sinja leaning on each other is definitely a key theme in the doujin and I love that it shows it’s mutual.

Then as Ja’far’s story wasn’t enough for Sin he desires to be with Ja’far.
I have to say that art wise this is my favorite part, tho I admit there are a lot of other beautiful and more complicated panel compositions, I still love this part the best.
Naos did an amazing job there, the panels are impregnated with feelings and they melted my heart.

The symbolism of Ja’far being Sin’s light is also brought up, by Sin himself. Overall the fact that we see Sinbad acknowledging this makes me really happy. We already know Sinbad is sort of Ja’far’s light, but seeing Sinbad’s point of view, how he feels about Ja’far, is basically denied to us. Ja’far being important to him as a source of comfort and dependance only makes sense thus I really agree with this portrayal and enjoy it.

After this we get their first argument ♥. I like sinja having discussions because the make up always involves them being honest with each other and developing their relationship into a better one. This one didn’t disappoint at all either.
Soon they have a second argument in which we see Sinbad having a sort of emotional breakdown and Ja’far being ready to comfort him. This is not only a parallel to the situation we witnessed not many pages before, in which young Ja’far has to be reminded that he is not an assassin anymore, but also something unusual for Sin’s character, even tho it’s very realistic, we almost never see him breaking. We only did on slave arc and tbh I like Ja’far is there to help him in both situations.

We get to the core of the doujin which connects a lot of things: the stories, the crystal ball, sinja comforting each other and being light to each other. I love how Sofi tied all these in a few panels. Ja’far’s answer is very believable and shows Sin how he can be reminded of his own good by only looking at Ja’far, all connected to the crystal ball. I think this is the best part plotwise and makes the doujin gain a lot of worth, thus I won’t spoil further about this one.

The doujin soon comes to an end with a touch of comedy and thank yous. It’s a really beautiful work, it really shows Naos put a lot of effort in this.

Overall the themes and references come together really nicely and honor Magi, sinja and 1001 Nights in the best way possible.

I may have missed a few more comments I did in the past but, without a doubt I love this work and can’t recommend it enough.

Thanks for this beautiful story and congrats on your hard work Sofi.
I hope we get to see more of your works, even if it’s not about the same ship.

This is all, hope you all guys can read Again&Again some time.

If you have read Again&Again and think I missed something or you want to add something, you can totally add it here ♥ I’m sure Naos will love it.

I have to say my English becomes worse and worse as time passes by so I’m really sorry if there are several typos/grammar mistakes in this.

On Ja’far and the Gestaltzerfall Effect from Volume 34

Hi everyone! Murphy here again. It’s been a while since I’ve posted on of these theories on this blog, huh. Sinja is really thriving these days with Snb and all~ This time I will be focussing on the Volume 34 Paper, the Love Counselling Session with Pisti. (SEE BELOW)

image

The raws were posted by someone on twitter or tumblr? If someone knows please let me know so I can credit them~ Thank you!

The translation of Ja’far’s piece reads:

Ja’far: “I’ve been so busy with work and my vision is getting bleary. I now suffer from Gestaltzerfall when reading the 恋 in 恋爱.”

Pisti: “It’s going to be alright! It’s probably has something to do with your age as well… never mind, sorry, forget what I said.”

Credit: @hayarashi

I’m sure every SinJa and Ja'far lover was confused when they read this. We finally get a peek into Ja’far’s love life but we are given this weird content instead? What does Gestaltzerfall mean? Why does this affect only Ja’far?

Well, I have yet to see a proper post detailing this which is why I am going to try my hand at analysing it today! Everyone please bear with me! (Long post ahead, watch out!!)

Wow that’s a lot to think about! I agree with your idea that Ja’far might not be able to recognize the feelings he’s held as for so long as love because they aren’t exactly the same as they were when he was younger. Of course Pitsi (our love expert) understands exactly what he’s talking about and tells him not to worry because *puts on social scientist glasses* love types evolve the longer people are together.

I would say Ja’far is probably thinking that the question is referring to romantic love, when in reality that isn’t the best definition for his and Sinbad’s relationship. I would define their relationship as Storge, and specifically Ja’far’s feeling as Agape.

In Social Science Storge is defined as “growing slowly out of friendship and is based more on similar interests and a commitment to one another rather than on passion [x]. Storgic lovers sometimes cannot pinpoint the moment that friendship turned to love [x].”

Agape is defined as “the purest form of love, derives its definition of love from being altruistic towards one’s partner and feeling love in the acts of doing so. The person is willing to endure difficulty that arises from the partner’s circumstance. It is based on an unbreakable commitment and an unconditional, selfless love, that is all giving. It is an undying love that is full of compassion and selflessness [x].”

So according to theory a healthy relationship in which both partners are committed to the others well being can evolve from Romantic to Storge. However not all romantic relationship become Storge and not all Storge relationships are Romantic. Nevertheless it is still a form of love!

On a slightly unrelated note, gestaltzerfall seems a little like what happenes to some dyslexics with certain words because of forced memorized spelling. Also probably why I was strongly advised not to take Japanese in school.

One of the reasons I love the Japanese language is because it’s so easy to slip in double meaning that make great fuel for metatheories.

But yes I do think this is the case. It makes the most sense. Otherwise, why put Jafar in there in the first place. From the enormous magi cast, he’s not the first person you’d associate with a love life (even though he does have one). So not only from a character perspective but also from a writer’s perspective this theory is the one that is the most logical. (especially because of the nature of Jafar’s love life the writers can’t openly declare it. Though times are changing and I feel that in a few years writers can be a bit more open about these sorts of relationships.)

In addition, Pisti stops talking about Ja’far’s age like if he were the type to get offended when reminded that he’s getting old. However we know Ja’far doesn’t really care about his age (that would be Sinbad). Her reply is really suspicious, she seems to stop before she touches a delicate issue.

All the following panels were taken from @arashidono  and edited.

I hate having to read SnB at work. Putting aside the deaths of 3 of my most beloved Magi characters (I already cried a lot tbh), we got this moment, which was amazing and beautiful and perfect.

Just picture Sinbad entering that place and seeing the bodies of Shaka, Vittel and Mahad. The shock it must have been after Mystras’s death…..
and then realizing Ja’far had to be there too.
Now, Sinbad has already gone through Ja’far possibly being death and we all remember how much he lost it back then. So he’s also reliving an old trauma, except this time Ja’far might actually be death.Three of his friends died so, why wouldn’t Ja’far be dead too?

Imagine Sinbad slowly checking if Ja’far’s heart is still beating, being so terrified. And then realizing he’s still alive. *sigh*

No wonder why Sinbad wanted to be the one carrying him, even tho Hinahoho and Pipirika, who are much stronger than him, were there too.
I especially love that panel in which just the two of them are shown. Ja’far waking up and realizing he’s being carried gently by Sin.

Sin is handling him so dearly >+o.

Is he carrying him cause he was so scared to lose him? Because he wanted Ja’far to be close to him so he’s sure he’s ok, to protect him. Did Sin want Ja’far to wake up and see him first, so he isn’t scared? Did he want to comfort him?
Is Sin ashamed of not being there with him, so he didn’t want to look at Ja’far thus he offered him his back to cry instead?

This is the intimate physical contact I wanted them to have since long ago!! They are so close together. I bet Sin can feel Ja’far’s heart beating fast and his warm tears and his hands holding onto him. The moment is just so intimate. I bet Ja’far feels comfortable on Sin’s back, all warm, covered in Sin’s scent too >+o

This is yet another big slap in the faces of everyone who claims Sinbad never cared about Ja’far. I hope the manga keeps proving them wrong as it continues.

image

^ I love this panel because it shows how close they are

image

^Ja’far trembling as he tells Sin about Vittel and Mahad.

image

^In this one it looks like Ja’far’s arms are hugging Sin’s neck as he cries??

Anyway, bazillion of headcanons can come out of this ♥ You bet Imma draw a lot of this too. I just can’t believe this finally happened…..
Thanks so much Ohtera-sensei ♥♥♥

Magi ch.323  -  Sinbad no Bouken ch.169

I was too busy to talk about this when it was out but:
LISTEN, this parallelism is not like the others? Most of the others imitated Magi panels in their exact compositions, everything in the same place with some changes ofc. However this one, this one is like a response, like a dialogue. And only because Ja’far’s head was drawn in the opposite direction.
Try to picture how it happened. Ohtera-sensei definitely has Magi’s manga with him when he does this parallelisms. He probably was ready to draw Ja’far in the same position as Sinbad, but….chose not to, on purpose. I don’t know the reason ofc, but his decision made both scenes more powerful to me somehow.
They happen in different contexts ofc, but both Sin and Ja are experiencing the same feeling. They know they are gonna die and they are satisfied with their deaths, ….but in the end, none of them died. This is the parallelism ofc. The same feeling in a similar situation, also same conclusion….except Ja’far’s face is heading Sinbad’s way. It’s funny because Ja’far’s death exeprience happened years before Sin’s, but his panel is like a response to Sinbad’s panel.
Maybe Ohtera-sensei just wanted them to look at each other, because he wanted them to match? Or maybe because it looks good composition-wise (?). But maybe he also wanted their deaths to speak to each other? I wish my English was better to explain what I actually mean.
I feel that their connection is much stronger now, somehow.
I know they are in different panels in different mangas/books and stories, but…. I’m sure this is on purpose. I’m almost sure Ohtera-sensei wanted them to indirectly look at each other or maybe he just wanted them to be united.

Conspirancy theories aside, It looks like their spirits are meeting happily in the afterlife. Smiling at each other. And what smiles they carry…especially Ja’far’s ♥.
Anyway, it’s beautiful. Thank you for so much Ohtera-sensei.

it feels like a handful of people didn’t like Jafar’s wish of wanting Sinbad to return - and like, I get it, but I’m also biased and feel like it comes from a place of people just not liking Sinja lmao.

Which I know isn’t entirely true, and I get it - Ja’far deserves to be his own person, but he.. he is? He was written with way more character and personality and story than Morgiana in some cases! He IS his own very unique, individual character… who just happens to find Sinbad important!

He’s going to visit Rurumu, he’s going to visit his friends. I know people want more confirmation from “word of god” that he’ll do these things, but I dunno. So much Ja’far critique I feel comes from just “ew why does it have to be about sinbad again :/” because Sinbad is his best friend ??? And I’m sure Ja’far has a HELL of a lot of regrets and shit to talk to with Sinbad, whereas he’s made peace with, say, Rurumu for years now, and has been keeping touch already with friends as we know he names Masrur’s child.

Like - Judar’s is just some comedic, no development “CONQUER ANOTHER DIMENSION!”, Morgiana’s is rather vague and wouldn’t you think she’d want to travel the world as well? or look forward to her marriage or something? Something about her life with Alibaba/Aladdin? The fanalis thing is vague when we never even got her Big Fanalis Adventure in the manga.

My point being that all the wishes are rather simple, casual things and it’s not their ONE AND FINAL ONLY WISH. Like, Hakuei was in a coma for so long and wants to JUST help Kouen? Not catch up with her brother or anything? It’s just one of the things she wants to do!

I know it’s disappointing because these feel like the last scraps of character we’ll get now that Magi is over, but like.. I don’t know. I’m probably just the big idiot bully who likes Sinja but it just really does feel like Ja’far can’t care about Sinbad because suddenly it becomes about him being too “obsessed.”

Both people who dislike and like sinja can express their opinions, so don’t feel bad or like a bully.
I don’t like the concept that because we are a majority we have to shut up. It makes no sense. We all in the fandom deserve to have opinions as long as we are respectful about it and don’t insult real people in the process.

Tbh I also feel the few people who didn’t like Ja’far’s wish don’t like sinja lmao. Like you said, for example, people who like en~ ei or don’t mind it, haven’t suddenly commented about how they don’t like Hakuei wishing to only take care of Kouen, so yep, in the end it’s all about likes and dislikes (and there’s nothing wrong about it).

I did not only find Ja’far’s wish lacking, but everyone else’s too. But just like you, since I ship sinja, I was happy about Ja’far’s wish.
I’m kinda bitter because Sinbad literally lied to him and left him, but Ja’far still loves him. But at the same time Ohtaka had no time to show Ja’far’s reaction to Sin’s doings (his or anybody’s). So we will never know how Ja’far really feels about what Sin did. But taking on account how Ja’far is, his personality, it’s really obvious that he’s not just gonna welcome Sin with a hug.

Tbh what else could he wish for? He’s back in Sindria, he’s back to his old position (which he loves, which was his dreams since forever), his family the other generals are ok. He can visit his fallen friends’ grave when he wants. Ja’far has returned to the country of his dreams and all his friends are ok. So what is he lacking for his life to be perfect? Sinbad. So, that’s what he wishes for.

Rather than Sin being the focus of his life, he’s the last piece he needs for everything to be perfect atm. Not to mention, he’s pretty much his life partner.

But well some people don’t like that, so what can you do.

Just like you, the only thing I disagree with is people saying his character is underdeveloped or only focused on Sin. His love for Sin is great yes, but he has several other interesting things going on. Starting with his obssession with work and the fact he’s continuing his life after Sin with optimism. Not because his wish is for him to come back all his other interesting traits are erased.

Sinja details on Magi 320

Hi dear people, I actually wanted to write a very detailed meta thingy about Magi 320 but I don’t have the time. So, I’m just gonna focus on 2 things.

First is this detail here:

image
image

I like the panel showing the night sky….I guess it’s to show us it’s late. Ja’far’s comment also confirms it.
….So, The implied info here (according to me) are the following points:

  • Sinbad’s office is probably connected to his bedroom: Since apparently Ja’far didn’t expect him to be getting dressed in the middle of the night (well it would be uncommon for everyone to find someone getting dressed when the working hours are over), maybe Sin works in his office with night clothing when he has to or more probably, Ja’far expected to find him in his bedroom, in bed, since it’s the same day Sinbad fainted at the International Alliance meeting.  Instead he found him getting dressed in his office.
Also, who finishes getting dressed in their office? Maybe his bedroom is in the next room and he just finished getting dressed in there as he walked towards it.

  • Ja’far goes into Sinbad’s room/office in the middle of the night like it’s nothing: Even tho last arc has proved us several times that sinja’s intimacy has suffered a great blow, the fact that Ja’far can come into Sin’s office without being announced and that he actually didn’t expected him to be dressed up or probably even there, shows that Ja’far is used to find Sinbad in his office or in his room late at night  ……. Yes, Ikr? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Also maybe Ja’far doesn’t usually find Sinbad in his uniform when it’s that late………… ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

These 2 panels are probably the ones that made me most happy about Magi 320 tbh, for those 2 reasons. I’m happy Sinbad didn’t reject Ja’far as much as to not allow him to come into his room late at night ♥. Or the fact that it isn’t awkward at all, but as common as always.

Aaaay you all guys!!! Thank you so much!!! ♥♥
For the Hiryuu x Zeno one, I’m sorry, I don’t know that much about them. I think they are adorable tho!!!!

General:

  • Rate the Ship -
Awful | Ew | No pics pls | I’m not comfortable | Alright | I like it! | Got Pics? | Let’s do it! | Why is this not getting more attention?! | The OTP to rule all other OTPs | QUEEN SHIP
  • How long will they last? - forever (I still have some hope) or till death do them part *cries*
  • How quickly did/will they fall in love? - For Ja’far it happened faster. He fell for Sin the moment he realized he genuinely was willing to trust him and accept him even tho he tried to murder him several times. For Sin it happened as Ja’far began to grow and change into the man he could rely on completely, the one who was always by his side and well he also became really attractive ;3
  • How was their first kiss? -I have 2 HCs but I’m gonna share just one:
After Sindria’s destruction Sinbad had a mental break down. He stayed locked in his room, getting drunk, trying to not be concious of anything. Everyone was still in shock about the whole thing so they didn’t give it much thought aside of being worried.
Ja’far tried to look after everything as usual, he would check Sinbad’s room several times a day to be sure he was ok. He would also wait till Sin passed out so he could put him on his bed. He’d also tidy up the room since Sinbad made a mess of it while drunk.
Sinbad noticed all this, all the effort Ja’far was puting and how patient he was being with him, despite the fact he was probably disappoiting him.
One day Ja’far came into his room when he was still half-concious. So he could witness how Ja’far carried him to his bed, removed his shoes and jacket, loosened his hair and tucked him in bed. Ja’far looked really sad and worried. Sinbad looked at him and felt guilty. He started crying (since he was on edge and drunk). Ja’far saw him crying and also started tearing up. To see Sin suffering like that was too much after all. He tried to calm Sin down and held his hand.
Ja’far held his hand all night and fell asleep in a chair next to his bed.
The next morning Sinbad finally wakes up with determination of at least trying to solve things. He decides they are going back to Rashid.
When Ja’far wakes up, he sees Sin standing, clean and looking ready. He instantly feels better. Sin tells him he’s gonna tell the others about their next move. Ja’far answers with a smile.
But then Sin approaches him slowly and looks at him silently. Ja’far just looks back and says: Sin?
And to Ja’far’s shock, Sinbad leans and kisses him softly.
Then he whispers: thank you. And leaves the room calmly.
Ja’far stays there frozen and blushing for a few minutes.
And that’s one of them. Even tho Sin kisses him there they don’t start anything until several years later. They just had that kiss. Sinbad just wanted to show gratitude and instinctively did that, but then he felt he shouldn’t have because Ja’far was still a child. He eventually forgot about it until years later, while Ja’far remembered it every year the date came.

Wedding:

  • Who proposed?Sinbad of course. Ja’far didn’t thought he would at all tho, he was not waiting for it and wasn’t even wishing for it.
  • Who is the best man/men? - Masrur and probably Drakon.
  • Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - Yamu, Pisti and Pipirika ofc
  • Who did the most planning? - Both of them did. At first none of them, and the girls were taking care of it, but they were doing things in a way sinja didn’t like. So Sinbad started to take care of things, especially in aesthetic related matters and decoration, while Ja’far focused more on planning and organizing all matters. Sinbad also helped him with everything a little. That’s why they are best team ♥.
  • Who stressed the most?- Ja’far. Not in a bridezilla way but the day of the wedding things always start changing from how they were originally planned and that stresses him always.
  • -How fancy was the ceremony? -
    Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.
  • Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - Judar, but he showed up anyway.

Sex:

  • Who is on top? - Both of them can be, but Sinbad likes to be on top most. Ja’far doesn’t mind to be in any position.
  • Who is the one to instigate things? - Mostly Sin, but both of them do it.
  • How healthy is their sex life?
    Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now
  • How kinky are they? -
Straight missionary with the lights off | 2 | 3 | 4 | Might try some butt stuff and toys | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Don’t go into the sex dungeon without a horse’s head- Sinja is vanilla with some small variations to me tbh. But vanilla af ♥. Might try some butt stuff this thing says, butts are always included dsihvoiho!!!!
  • How long do they normally last? - depends on how busy they are. If they have the night free they last several hours with repeats and all. But if they are hella busy it goes as quick as possible.
  • Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - they do! Especially Sin wants to make sure. The first times were hard tho, because Ja’far didn’t have much sexual experience.
  • How rough are they in bed? -
Softer than a butterfly on the back of a bunny | 2 | 3 | 4 | The bed’s shaking and squeaking every time | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Their dirty talk is so vulgar it’d make Dwayne Johnson blush. Also, the wall’s so weak it could collapse the next time they do it.- I’m laughing at these descriptions wtf.
  • How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? -
No touching after sex | 2 | 3 | 4 | A little spooning at night, or on the couch, but not in public | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They snuggle and kiss more often than a teen couple on their fifth date to a pillow factory.

Children:

  • How many children will they have naturally? -  one or two maybe
  • How many children will they adopt? -  They have adopted 5 beautiful children. In AUs, 3 cute babies ♥
  • Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Both of them. They share the work equally.
  • Who is the stricter parent? - Ja’far, while Sinbad spoils too much, and then he convinces Ja’far to also spoil.
  • Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Ja’far
  • Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - Ja’far
  • Who is the more loved parent? - Both of them are
  • Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - Both of them, depends on how busy they are at work. If one can’t go the other one covers.
  • Who cried the most at graduation? - Ja’far
  • Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? -this question is weird.

Cooking:

  • Who does the most cooking? - Ja’far cooks better than Sin, but both of them cook well. Who does it most depends on how busy is the other.
  • Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Sinbad
  • Who does the grocery shopping? - Both again
  • How often do they bake desserts? - they have their moments. Sometimes it’s several times a week, but then they worry about having an unhealthy diet and stop.
  • Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Both I think, they eat it all. Tho maybe they do like meat more.
  • Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Sinbad. Then Ja’far would do it next year as a thank you. But Sinbad is the one who comes up with surprises and romantic gifts the most.
  • Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Sinbad
  • Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking? - ….Sinbad

Chores:

  • Who cleans the room? - both do
  • Who is really against chores? - none of them are
  • Who cleans up after the pets? - both
  • Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Sinbad, Ja’far when he’s stressed.
  • Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Ja’far
  • Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Sinbad

Misc:

  • Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Sinbad
  • Who takes the dog out for a walk? - Both
  • How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Sinbad does, every holiday. Ja’far helps too, but it’s Sin who has the initiative.
  • What are their goals for the relationship? - Stay a stable couple, live together, adopt children maybe.
  • Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Sinbad, but they rarely sleep that much. They both are used to waking up early. Ja’far just sometimes lets Sin sleep more when he sees him tired. He turns off his alarm clock. Ja’far wakes up without having to set an alarm.
  • Who plays the most pranks? - Sin and then Ja’far gets his revenge.

Anyway thank you guys!! This was fun ♥ some questions were weird tho.
You can send more!!! It could be another ship you know I can write a lot about ♥

Look, buddy, Sinja is hella c a n o n

I have a major piece of evidence ok
so
context

as u might already know the Red String of Fate is used in East Asian culture to symbolise the connection between two destined lovers

have you ever looked at Ja’far’s wrists and arms?

he has red threads wrapped around his a p p e n d a g e s right?

And that red thread is connected to his daggers, Bararaq Sei, his connection to Sinbad (being his Household Vessel)

Sinbad who can see the path of fate & in addition saves Ja’far from meeting a terrible fate by literally taking fate into his own hands (more specifically, taking Ja’far’s fate into his own hands) thus intertwining their fates

do u see what i am sayin

The red cord wrapped around Ja’far’s arms is the Red String of Fate connecting him to Sinbad!

^^^^Good post op
