It seems like without Sinbad, Mira is the one who leads the board of directors? It’s not confirmed but she seems to be the one commanding everyone to fight Alibaba….I mean, she’s doing it in more than one panel with everyone else behind her.
Even if this ends up not being canon I really love the idea.
Sin is a very sexist character but only when seducing women apparently (?), because he does recognize capable women and puts them in important positions.
He did it with Rurumu in SnB. He didn’t thought that even if she was already a mom (and pregnant once again) leading his company would be a problem for her.
If he did the same here with Mira I wouldn’t be surprised either.
Also he recognizes when women are dangerous and aggressively defends himself from them/attacks them/hits them (Arbakuei, Celendine, Maader, Mira). He doesn’t hesitate like the typical guy who can’t hurt women cause “all women fragile“ (Sanji I’m looking at you). Even if he has said something like this himself before lol.
Sometimes I think Sinbad’s womanizing ways don’t really belong to his character and were added only because it’s supposed to be “funny”, because it’s a trope. Just like the boobie jokes.
But at the same time seducing women do fit his manipulative personality…. especially cause he only seems to enjoy sex with them, aka: he doesn’t intend to have a romance or a formal relationship.
In the end he would def be a terrible partner for any woman, but at least putting bed partners/concubines and seducing women for political purposes, he does have some women close that he truly recognizes and respects.
Quite a bunch seem to be his friends, ….tho I’m a little sad we don’t see him actually bonding frienship-wise with any as we see him bonding with the boys…
